Has anyone who’s reading this (you’re obviously using a computing device of some sort) not played one of the built-for-Windows versions of Solitaire?
Since the ’90s, it’s been the boredom buster of choice for many an office worker with too little to do and too many hours until quitting time. It’s great for putting off any real work you have to do, too.
If you’re a Mac user who’s never owned a Windows PC, you may never understand the comfort of always having this card game at the ready, or the thrill of victory when that final card hits the Ace pile and the rest of the deck cascades downward and bounces off the screen.
Bonus tip: If you’re playing on the setting where you draw three cards at a time, you can cheat and draw just one card if you get stuck by holding down the CTRL, ALT and Shift keys at the same time and then clicking on the deck. That’ll be our little secret.
