Back in 2011, Jawbone shipped the Up, a $129.99 wristband which recorded data about your exercise habits and sleep patterns for tracking via a smartphone app, all in the interest of building a better you. When early adopters reported reliability problems, the company yanked the wristband off the market. Now it’s back, in a more robust version which looks just like the original. You wear it 24/7, except when you’re transferring data to your iPhone (an Android app is on its way) or recharging. The app also lets you record the food you’ve eaten — you can even scan the barcodes on packaging for automatic snack identification.
